Last year, the Town’s auditor warned of serious financial mismanagement under incumbent Supervisor Joe Bott’s leadership (as reported by the Times Union), including:
Improper adjustments to over-expended accounts
No monthly reconciliations
No authorization for project expenditures that included no-bid contracts and
totaled more than $3 million
Reduction in fund balances of almost $7.5 million

! ! ! ! !
The issues identified in the auditor’s letter were so serious that the auditor suggested that the Town could become insolvent. What could This mean for North Greenbush residents?
Higher taxes and reduced Town services!
! ! ! ! !
Anyone who has driven on Route 4 knows this to be true. It’s because Town officials continue to approve developments without the necessary infrastructure to support these developments. A study conducted by the Capital Region Transportation Council to improve traffic on Route 4 was completed in 2024, but the Town has thus far done nothing to implement the recommendations made.

North Greenbush residents are being short changed when it comes to recreational opportunities. Unlike neighboring towns, North Greenbush is lacking in the following areas:
No dog park
No town hiking, biking, or walking trails
No park facilities at all for Defreestville area residents
North Greenbush residents are being short-changed when it comes to recreational opportunities - and they deserve better!

My Priorities for North Greenbush Residents:
Transparent Government
Fiscal Responsibility
Quality of Life Improvements
